I must admit, I was very excited and nervous about this workout; it was different from any other one done. It forced me to suck it up and aim to hit my splits; I tried to keep my recovery time down. I started off with an easy 4 mile warm up run @ 8:31pace. Then, I did 3 x 1,000 meter repeats, 4 x 800 meter repeats, and 2 x 4oo meter repeats; I was joined by a few members of my CC team. We did not run together.

I was not concentrating very well on this set of repeats. The track was very busy and thus there were some minor distractions. I should have easily hit my splits.
