As always, I took Monday (June 20th) off as a rest day, but headed out to the track for my weekly speed session. I started off by doing 5 miles @ an 8:18 pace. Then, I hit the track for 8 x 800 meter repeats. The idea was to hit each split in the general range of 3 minutes and 3 minutes and 10 seconds. The first repeat was the toughest. I concluded this session with a 1 mile cool down.
