I am a bit slow updating the training blog here. This past weekend I had two good quality runs. It was not a high mileage weekend, but I felt great about the miles I completed. On Saturday, which was day 6 of week 18, I did a tempo run of 10 miles. I ran the first 4 miles at an 8:00 min per mile pace; I followed that up with 4 miles at 7 min per mile pace; I was impressed that I hit each of my splits exactly. I ran the last 2 miles at an 8 min per mile pace. I felt very strong.

Total Miles for Day 6: 10

My longest run this weekend was day 7 of week 18, which was a 12 mile run; I ran this pretty slow. My legs felt okay, but I waited a bit too long before I got out of the door. Hence, it was already pretty darn hot.

Total Miles for the week: 62.5
