I did a day of track work; I do look not forward to such sessions, but in the end I know it takes this type of stuff to get better. I have so many folks on my side. I should get better. Karl is great! I got an email this AM from Peter who also has been great. And, I have my pre run music. If you know the song Change from the movie Vision Quest, then you get why it can be easy to get motivated. I placed the video below. I get fired up every time I watch this movie and listen to this song.

As for Tuesday’s session:

I did 6 miles @ 8:26 pace. Then, I did 8 x 800 meter repeats on the track with a 400 meter recovery run.  My splits in minutes and seconds per repeat:
