After a slow half mile warm up on my usual Memorial Park loop, I aimed to work in a few 800 meter repeats with a 400 meter recovery jog; I started this session off after the warm up with an 800 meter run at 5k pace; I repeated this cycle 5 times, thus giving this speedwork session 5 x 800 meter repeats. I like the way this session went; it left me feeling tired but encouraged.
