As part of my recovery week, I did a very easy 5.27 mile run @ 8:01 per mile pace; it felt great to have a nice easy run. Due to racing a half-marathon this Sunday, I should feel well rested. As Scott Douglas always state, “one should feel as though they are gaining energy during easy recovery runs. It is as if one is not allowing energy to slip out.” I felt that way today. I am not sure I broke a sweat, though the Houston temps were in the low 70s.
