I rested yesterday after finishing a 22 mile long run; I am trying to vary my workouts and training some, per the recommendation of a few knowledgable people. Today I did an easy 5 mile 8:49 per mile pace recovery run on the treadmill; I followed that up with 15 x 200 meter repeats on the track; I completed each 200 meter speed run in 35 seconds, with a nice and easy recovery jog for 200 meters before repeating the cycle. I finished feeling really good.
