I just completed the St. Jude Memphis Marathon this past weekend; I will write more about that event. As for today, I am officially kicking off my training for the 2011 Boston Marathon. Because I want two days off from running, I will make today an easy recovery day. Hence, one hour on the elliptical machine, which is about 6 miles.  According to Pfitzinger’s “more than 85 miles per week schedule,” I am set to get in 80 this week. I am pumped and highly motivated. I have read great reviews about this training program. I am convinced I can reach my 2:50 goal… if not faster. But, I have a long way to go.
